Okay so this totally sucked. The only thing I bought it for was the zsadist and BELLA small chapter story. The rest of it is ok but I HATED that J.R. award put herself in the book interviewing the characters, it was cringy for me and that’s my opinion for me and me alone if others like that then that’s good and the book wasn’t a total waste! Not what was expected
I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't this. I absolutely love the BDB series but I just hated I wasted the money for this book. Some people may enjoy reading about how she wrote the book but I really didn't. I can see this book making some people feel closer to the series but it did quite the opposite for me. I think she is a great author but I did not expect to hear about all of her details on how the writes and her feelings emotionally toward the characters. I thought it was a little weird that she interviews the characters as the author. As in she goes to them and she interviews them asking them questions, which she already knows seeing as she's written the books and then some characters she really likes and others... not so much. She acts like these are real people and they act ... I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't this. I absolutely love the BDB series but I just hated I wasted the money for this book. I kept reading assuming that there would be stuff that we would learn about the characters that we didn't learn from the books but it really wasn't like that at all. It was just.... corny. However, I did enjoy the very first story in the book before the interviews take place because it's a story about Zadist and Bella and the trials that they are going through with Nalla. It wasn't very long and to me not worth the money it cost for the whole book. After the interviews she goes on to deleted scenes and there's just not much there. Most of it's pretty much the same thing that was in the book with a slight difference but there again, nothing that really matters... at least to me. There again, some people may really enjoy this book but I just did not. I will however continue reading in the series. I do enjoy her writing and would continue to purchase more books from her in the future, just probably not an "Insiders Guide".

JR Ward Unveils Some Serious Secrets About The Brotherhood! Great Fun, Too!
I find JR Ward's writing to be engaging and very True to her characters. She involves the reader almost instantly into her fast-moving plotlines and acclimates one to the climate of her books and the "people" in them. This Guidebook is for those who enjoy her works and wish to know more about her characters, their world and their worldviews. It is very entertaining for her fans and is an asset to her canon of work. That being said, it would not be a book to start with if the reader has never read her work. All of her books are very "worldly" and VERY explicit. Therefore, I'd recommend this book for a dyed-in-the-wool JR Ward fan only. I enjoy her honesty and the consistency of the characters she portrays, and this book, for me, provides a great deal of fun reading...as well as an expansion ... I find JR Ward's writing to be engaging and very True to her characters. Great addition to the series, I hope that the WARDen does another one.
I loved reading "Father Mine" - the Zsadist and Bella (don't forget Nalla) novella. This was the primary reason I ordered this book and I actually read it while I was reading the current book of the series so a little out of order. It's very interested to read the WARDen's thought process behind each book and how she connects with the characters that she writes about. She really feels apart of their world. The brothers are HILARIOUS.I loved reading "Father Mine" - the Zsadist and Bella (don't forget Nalla) novella. This was the primary reason I ordered this book and I actually read it while I was reading the current book of the series so a little out of order. It's very interested to read the WARDen's thought process behind each book and how she connects with the characters that she writes about. She really feels apart of their world.
