      Functionality without Aesthetics

      Mechanically sound and solved the functionality problem. A bit weathered on the exterior cover. Not sure how that could happen inside a passenger compartment. Required extricating its guts and placing them in the shell of the malfunctioning unit. More effort than I preferred; however, I am thankful to find such a working part in an old car. Final score: Functionality: A; Aesthetics: C.
