Pot Metal Housing Bracket Broke, two headlamps
Bought two of these in good faith to have an updated stock look to headlights. Installed OK, (more loose/play than OEM), but more important, after a couple months, the pot metal bracket broke where it attaches to the headlamp on BOTH headlights. How did I notice? The headlight beams were bouncing all over the place going down the road at night. My suggestion is to spend the money and purchase genuine OEM from Dealership. Definition of Pot metal: [Also known as "monkey metal", white metal, or die-cast zinc—is a colloquial term that refers to alloys of low-melting point metals that manufacturers use to make fast, inexpensive castings.]Bought two of these in good faith to have an updated stock look to headlights.
