Although there were unforeseen (not seller fault) issues with shipping, package was recieved well-protected and as advertised. Looking forward to playing my PS4 and will gladly do business with great communicator, problem-solver again!!1

Seller was a quick shipper. Came pretty quickly! I’d purchase again from this seller, item was just as described. Great communication as well, as I wanted to make sure there was no stain on the item, which there wasn’t. It was a lenses glare in the photo, just as the seller stated.

    Yet another set top box.

First off- I got a killer deal. I paid maybe 15% of MSRP, and I'd swear it was new when I got it. So, yeah, the interface is kinda clunky- but they all are. It literally was plug and play, and five minutes later I knew how to work it. I have TWC cable, two Roku boxes, and three to five computers running. That's one Mac running one OSX, a PC dual boot Win 8.1 and 10, and my wife has another on Win 7 along with another Mac an an older OSX. The Rokus are excellent devices, huge selections of types and genres- and didn't see anything not on the Internet. With this Sony I can see most of the same online offerings. Plus the TWC DVR. Plus the music and movies on my PCs. Plus it has the USB port on the side that will get the occasional external HDD soon. I was just watching some old home movies ...

Does Not Really Meet the Needs of SHD or Deaf

My fault, my bad. Should have done my homework before buying. Have an earlier model streaming Sony Media Player and figured this one, being newer, would have closed caption support unlike the one I already had. Not so. Still, the product is an okay media streamer once you get it set up.

  • ver good product with tons of features features for the buck

pros: player is very good in features connectivity since its got the latest in video and audio connection as well as old school composites for older tvs also with wifi and LAN connections more possibilities than competitor products remote is very easy to use. price is 39.99 where in the store is 50 something dollars plus taxes which varies depending location. cons: you will need to use a laptop to register every app thru sonys website also has the power supply outside like a laptop instead of built-in like a tv, desktop computer or dvd player where you only connect one cable to the back. No android OS and causes limitations to its relative software.

  • Very good product for the price, especially if you use all the services.

Item looks like new and works well. I mainly purchased to use with Amazon Prime video-on-demand. It works well on wired network. I have not tried the wireless, but it does see my routers. Registering device on Amazon video was easy, and worked within 5 minutes of registering. One funny thing, the previous owner registered this device on their NetFlix and Hulu Plus accounts, and is still active, so I am able to use this for those services also. At least until they get wise and unlink the device or close their accounts. I used all the other functions briefly, and everything works fine.

  • Awesome, so glad I made this purchase!

My son hooked me up to Netflix via one of his Playstations. After using that system for a few months I decided to check into the media streamer. I LOVE IT. I am 70 years old and it is very easy to use except for two factors: 1. Registering the streamer was: me at the computer and my son reading prompts, navigating the streamer. 2. Being older, I have a harder time seeing the movie titles on this than I did on the Playstation, would be nice if they had this part a little larger, even with new bi-focals I have to get close to screen to read some of the movies. I haven't used all of things available to me via my streamer but my son says (he's the techy) that it really is a great deal.
