Beyond great price. The media itself (CDs) were in NM (near mint) condition. Packaging was in fair condition, so stating Good in the description was reasonable if not downplaying the media itself. Nothing to complain about. Shipping was free and arrived exactly a week later (5 business days). Would definitely recommend and do business with seller again! A++

SecondSalecom is one of my go to sellers, because they have a large selection and I can usually find the book or movie that I want from them at a low price if not the lowest price on eBay. Also, when I buy three books/movies I get a fourth book/movie free. Shipping is also free. This was a great transaction. The DVD was packaged well, shipped promptly and is just as described. I will be back to buy again. Thank you!!

  • A Citizen's Introduction to America's Founding

If you are looking for an explanation and an understanding of the founding of the United States this is a great book to start your journey. Then continue reading the authors other titles: Founding Brothers, His Excellency: George Washington, The First Family, American Sphinx, The Character of Thomas Jefferson. Also, David McCullough's 1776 and John Adams should be included in your understanding of this country's founding. However, American Creation should be your starting point and then after completing the reading list above ponder this question; What would Thomas Jefferson think of the Tea Party?

  • American Creation

As the subtitle indicates, this book tells both sides of the story: the tragedies as well as the triumphs that occurred at the founding of the nation. All the founders, especially Jefferson -- perhaps our greatest president ever -- espoused "All men are created equal." Yet they found no way to eliminate the horrendous stain of slavery. And with that failure, the inevitability of the Civil War. Secondly, the failure to reach a just settlement with the Native Americans was equally hypocritical of them, and a great lack of political leadership. Both of these failures continue to reflect poorly on are legacy as "the greatest republican/democratic nation in the world."

  • Interestingly written

I bought this book because it was assigned reading in a Political Science class. It is well written and interesting, not dry and boring like some history of government books are. The author has a way of keeping the reader's attention.

  • It's ok

I needed the book for school, so i loved that it was a lot cheaper then having to go to barnes and nobles and buying a new one when i don't really want the book in the first place...
