Great series!
I remember watching Batman: The Animated Series when I was younger and really enjoying it, but somehow I managed to miss this one completely. I recently purchased all three volumes for my son and I'm very pleased with the decision. I like this version of the Man of Steel better than any of the live-action versions by a long shot! It's also fun to see how it ties in with the aforementioned Batman series and other characters such as Green Lantern being introduced, even though some of the details of the origin stories are slightly different. Most comic book readers will acknowledge that character details and history have changed many times over the years. I'm a huge fan of the DC animated movies, but sometimes they go to dark places that make them less than kid-friendly. That is not the ... Nice DVD of Superman the Animated Series!
I bought this DVD because I am a Superman fan and had volumes one and two of the animated series. This one has some great episodes featuring Lex Luthor, Brainiac and Metallo and shows an epic battle between Superman & Darkseid. I would recommend all three volumes of Superman the Animated Series! The only thing I don't like about them is the series ran too short...only 54 episodes as opposed to Batman the Animated Series 109 episodes! Volume three has 18 episodes and they are action packed! Great Comic Book Adaptation!!!
The final season of a great series. Must have for Superman fans of course. Great for the whole family. The only problem is they use some of the same actors in different roles. Still love it anyway though and highly recommend it. 5/5

I adore this animated series and this final installment may be the best of the three seasons. The action scenes are high impact, but the main treat about the show is the brilliant storytelling. The episodes are bright and buetiful. It looks like the teams really put alot of time and effort into making these shows Emmy material. (Superman volume 2 "Worlds Finest" won an Emmy.)Of all the outstanding work that Bruce Timm and the crew at Warner Bros. Animation did, "SUPERMAN": the animated series remains my favorite to this day. A+I adore this animated series and this final installment may be the best of the three seasons.
