This was not wrapped in the box so when I cut the box open it scraped the top of the box where it says Krug. Super annoying. The box also had a nick in it in the lower right (maybe that came from the poor packaging.) if this had been packaged properly this would have been a 5 star review and a great buy,

Main complaint seems to be the carrier, UPS, which is my least favorite carrier. They charge me extra if the box is 1 inch or 1 oz over what I have estimated. I did not foresee the buyer slicing up the box with his knife or the carrier damaging an empty hardwood box shipped in a sturdy cardboard box. I don't know if USPS would have damaged the box, and I cannot control who opens the box or the methods they use to do so. I'm sorry the item was damaged in transit and by your efforts to open it.
