I decided to purchase this book as I had already borrowed it from the library to read (for pesonl use) when it came up on a list as a "must read & report" for my Human Resources class. So I got to read a book I was truly interested in, plus I received a grade for it!! This book is more then I thought it would or could be. The author walks you through every possible step of job-hunting &/or career changing. He also points out more than that. If you are thinking of doing either (especially with the economy what it is) you can't possibly do it right without first reading this book!!!! Find your dream job with his process! What color is your parachute?
A friend recommended this book to me. It is helpful in discovering what your purpose is and what you are most likely to be happy doing as a career. I have not worked it as much as necessary yet, but have had a breakthrough in understanding as I applied myself to the task they recommended. I find it is helping me in the area of self-discovery. Writing "who I am" on the top of 10 papers and then going on to write what turns you on about what you wrote. It turned my thinking completely around. I was very negative at the time. When I was done, I found myself laughing. That is an amazing turn around from how I started. I know it will be a helpful book. I just need to work it.A friend recommended this book to me. I've bought this book for a year but didn't have much time to read it until I realized it's time for me to search for a new job and career. This works! This book is not only just telling you how you can find a job easier but also to teach you how you determine your career. When depression comes, which happens most of the time when you feel bad about your current job. People fail and give up on what they should look for. This book totally lift you up. "If you ask for a fish, then you can eat for tonight, if you know how to fish, then you can eat for life." not my favorite purchase
Do you really like a review?? Ok. I ordered the book cuz i need it for class in College. I thought I'm getting a 2006 edition, which is what the title and discreption say. but wha=en i get the book, i see it's a 1987 edition!! How can that help me with homework, in a 2007 college class?? Thanx for nothing. I bought the book and it's useless. i have to buy a new one! There's your review.
