    A great introduction to patternmaking

    Three cheers for author Adele Margolis who has lived to celebrate her 100th birthday this year (2009). This reprint of her classic book "Make Your Own Dress Patterns" is a nontechnical and encouraging introduction to patternmaking for anyone who's ever longed to change a neckline on a commercial pattern or draft a tailored jacket from scratch. I recommend it highly.
