    The steering rack 08-14 WRXs should have come from the factory with!

    I replaced the stock steering rack on my '09 WRX with this, and am extremely pleased with the results. The steering feel is a bit heavier and much more precise. The on-center "dead zone" is pretty much gone, and I can actually feel what the front tires are doing now. The front end is much more "point & shoot" now versus the vague and imprecise feel of the original rack. You will feel more kickback from the front tires, but it's worth it. I suggest installing a Perrin Steering Lockdown on the steering U joint damper when you replace the rack. It gets rid of the last bit of slop/rubbery feeling, and really compliments this rack. I haven't felt steering this direct since my '73 Mercury Capri with a manual (non-powered) steering rack. Oh, and these guys have the best price I've seen on this ...
