Product Information

One of the original cast members of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, Gilda Radner was known for the geeky misfits she played with hilarious pathos. A cast member during the show's foundational years from 1975-1980, Radner created such characters as the opinionated commentator Roseanne Roseannadanna; Judy Miller, the abuser of dolls; Lisa Loopner, who pursued her beloved Todd indefatigably; and the hearing-impaired Emily Litella. Though she succumbed to ovarian cancer at a regrettably young age, Gilda Radner's legacy survives, and her humor is timeless.

    Great dvd worth the money and I watch it all the time.

    I think this is the best SNL DVD released. Gilda Radner was one of the funniest comedians of all time. I felt like this dvd gave you everything you needed. Her most memorable sketches are here. I like the sketch with Gilda, Madeline Kahn, Larraine Newman and June Curtin. This is a very great dvd for a first time Gilda fan it will introduce them to her best moments. This was one of the first dvds I watched of her and I fell in love with her instantly. I bought Gilda Live which is another must own for any Gilda fan. I liked the sketches Gilda had with Bill Murray those were real good. She had great sketches with John Belushi and Steve Martin. I still wonder why SNL never released a Best of Bill Murray. Radner and Murray were a great team. Thanks for reading my review have a great day! ...

    Some of her best and memorable skits!

    It's Gilda, so it has to be good!! Overall a good DVD and definitely has some of her classic skits, including skits with Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Jane Curtin, et al. I was afraid I would be disappointed with this DVD, having been burned in the past by "the best of.." DVDs. I wasn't! I just can't get enough of Gilda--wish it was several DVDs, not just one :) !

    Rosanne Roseannadanna

    Gilda is a chameleon of characters. Once she takes on her role, she delivers a constant stream of comedy. For me, she is one of the best SNLPerformers, ever casted. I roared with laughter with every sketch.
