About this product

Product Information

The Fluance AV-BP2 tackles the needs of surround speaker design in a usefully different way. It is a bipolar design that combines two identical panels that employ a 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch Neodymium balanced dome tweeter. Its surround ambience is very convincing, thanks to the way the two speaker panels are angled outward to radiate indirectly. But because the speakers are wired in phase, in a bipolar design, they also provide all the localization needed for soundtracks with directional surround effects. The more demanding you are about surround sound, the more we think you will appreciate what the AV-BP2 has to offer. It has top reproduction qualities in the hi-fidelity music as well as the surround sound home theater area and therefore can also be used as a bookshelf speaker. Only premium components such as powerfully dimensioned high-performance magnets and Neodymium tweeters are used in the production of this system.

    Great rears with a sweet twin tweeter/twin mid range design

    For the price, just over 100US, these two guys do an extremely great job. Their tone blend nicely with many different front towers and can rock a bit during heavy passages. I bought them due to the four speaker design, wanted to see if that was better than the typical two tweeter, one mid design of almost all all bi rears. For the price, these can't be beat.

    Just try and find a better sounding, better made set of speakers @ this $$$

    These speakers could not of been packed better. Arrived without a scratch. Cabinet construction is fabulous. VERY solid speakers. The sound is perfect for both my Home Theater experience as well as Music and Games. Not even using the binding posts yet, and I am still thrilled with the sound. You will need to work the drivers loose a little at first (as with most speakers) as the baffles are as tight. (Not a bad thing). If you are looking for an affordable bi-pole surround speaker.....these are a GREAT value. High end sound from a high quality, inexpensive speaker. I will be buying another pair for my Zone 2/Side channel very soon! NOTE: These speakers are hooked up to a HK AVR-2650 @ 95 watts a channel, on the surround rears.....and are just right for the power/THD.

    Great Value, Excellent product.

    I have only had these speakers a couple of days now, but my first impressions (always the most important) are these; 1. They arrived on time and in excellent condition, double boxed and braced with Styrofoam on all corners. 2. These are NOT your average everyday speakers, they are heavy, well made, and of top quality materials. I have Polk Audio TSi200 mains and these are almost half to 3/4 the size of them. 3. According to the supplied paper, they have a 10 hour break-in period. Well, thus far the back channel is fuller (had Polk Audio OWM3's)richer and more alive. I just may place these upfront just to see how they act (front height channel). All in all, I will let these settle in, and get that "Fluance Sound" and will write again. Thus far, I just may be looking at replacing my Polk's ...

    they do sound good!

    Very nice set of surround speakers. They are well designed and manufactured. Very impressive for the price and are Canadian made! I bought those for the 2 speakers system and I'm not disappointed. The sound is excellent and the surround effect is much better than before with a regular set.
