Short, Easy to Read, and to the Point
I got this book even though I don't have macular degeneration. I wanted to know how to prevent the condition. My mom has the dry type and knows other older women with the condition. Her doctor in Iowa City, Iowa told her to take Preservision. Despite the cost and overdosing on vitamins, she took the formula anyway. Having stomach problems, I was surprised it didn't give her an upset stomach! I took one of those just one time and got nauseous! The book talks a lot about nutrition and antioxidants. Preservision has lots of vitamins, but I believe the body can get overloaded on them, and natural food is always the best. Long story short, my mom ended up with macular degeneration any way. I was hoping the book had information on black floaters, which I do have. Probably because ... I got this book even though I don't have macular degeneration.
