About this product

Product Information

I'm a firefighter, God, so I know I've been in some tough places before. But this . . . this not knowing the people I love . . . this is the hardest thing I can imagine. The last thing Jake Bryan knew was the roar of the World Trade Center collapsing on top of him and his fellow firefighters. The man in the hospital bed remembers nothing. Not rushing with his teammates up the stairway of the south tower to help trapped victims. Not being blasted from the building. And not the woman sitting by his bedside who says she is his wife. Jamie Bryan will do anything to help her beloved husband regain his memory, and with it their storybook family life with their small daughter, Sierra. But that means helping Jake rediscover the one thing Jamie has never shared with him: his deep faith in God. Jake's fondest prayer for his wife is about to have an impact beyond anything he could possibly have conceived. One Tuesday Morning is a love story like none you have ever read: tender, poignant, commemorating the tragedy and heroism of September 11 and portraying the far-reaching power of God's faithfulness and a good man's love.

Beautiful, poignant stories relating to the heartbreak, loss and hope that came about because of 9/11.

After 9/11 Americans made a vow to NEVER FORGET. Unfortunately, too many have forgotten what our enemies are capable of. So I purchased this set to help me remember how so many lives were thrown into turmoil and despair and great loss. Once again, Karen Kingsbury creates three beautiful, poignant stories that will grab your heart, bring many tears, many heart warming moments and stories you will want to read over and over again.

  • One Tuesday Morning

I bought this book specifically because it was about 9/11 and I have been very intriqued with the events of 9/11. We lost a cousin in the Pentagon attack, so I followed these events very closely. Although this is fiction, it could have been real. It showed how to work through your grief and how to start living again. It can't be easy, and the characters seemed like someone you would like to be friends with. A very inspirational book. I like this author very much.

  • Unforgettable story - it will stick with you!

What a wonderful story of fear, compassion, love and understanding. If any one person had a difficult time understanding September 11, I am sure this story will help anyone understand just what some of these families had to endure in the after math. Love Karen Kingsbury -- what a great writer she is.

  • kAREN KINGSBURY'S ONE TUESDAY MORNING

This book is simply powerful. Karen Kingsbury is the kind of author that won't let you put the book down. If you would like to view 9/11 from the point of view of the NYFD, this book will allow you to do that. Don't ask me how a woman who wasn't even there did it, but somehow she captured the sounds, sights and smells of that horrific time in our history. DEFINITELY A BOOK TO BE READ... AT LEAST ONCE!!!
