It's a well-built little utility box.
It switches on/off any combination of three inputs to one output, OR routes one input to any combination of three outputs. It works with or without batteries-- which are solely for the LEDs. Plugging a cord into the single in/out jack enables power (LED function). It is a little large, but that is necessary for stability and ease of foot access to the three switches. There is a 9v power in (for LED) and a 9v battery compartment with a click-in plastic cover. It is mono in and mono out. The actual jacks are TRS, but the additional R (ring) isn't used for anything. I wish they would have made the unit capable of switching balanced or stereo signals. The design is right. QUIET and so useful!
Great unit that is silent! No sounds at all when switching channels. It allows we to take my guitar signal and route to two different amps or the DI for the house PA - or any combination thereof. Someone mentioned that when routing to two sources, the output lowers by 50%. No for me. Levels did not change at all. I play mandolin, acoustic guitars and electric guitars for each show and I use this to route to either a Roland JC-120, Fender Bluesman or the house PA.Great unit that is silent! Great for complex rigs
I played three guitars in my last performance. I only have one amp and didn’t want to keep unplugging. The Morley provided a simple solution and worked great. Just have to make sure you shut off one switch before you turn on the other and change your effects.
