    WORTH EVERY PENNY! CD's are in perfect condition. They have both extended and theatrical versions, and the cases are beautiful. Truly worthy of a LOTR lover's collection.

    While you get both the theatrical and the extended version of each movie, you still don't get as much additional special features as in the "original extended" versions. That said, that's the only one bad negative thing I can say about these movies. They all come in a special artistic box, not as beautiful as the big boxes from the special edition extended movies, but they still include a very beautiful artwork in the cover, as well as a extra transparent cover. The movies are, of course, my favorites by far, and I have seen a lot of incredible movies out there. Peter Jackson did an exemplar work with all of the three adaptations from the work of Dr. John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. You just can't believe they erased so much material from the original work (around a full hour of extra contents ...

    Lord of the Rings limited edition trilogy

    A six disc collectors set, with each film having a beautifully illustrated cover! You get both the theatrical release and the extended version of all three films, each film also contains a second disc with bonus features! I had the 12 disc set and got rid of it, as it was overkill, and you only got the extended version of the film! The only negative is you have to flip the disc to complete the film, but that's small since you had to put in a second disc to complete the film with the 12 disc set, it's just because the films are so long! A highly recommended collectors set, that gives you bonus material, both versions of the films, and takes up less than half the space!

    Lord of the Rings - One of the Best Epic Movies of All

    The main reason way I liked Lord of the Rings trilogy is that I love the mid-evil ages. Castles, Knights, and all the sweet battles and the many other things that go with it. The first movie to me was more like a setup to the storyline. How everything came to be, at least half of the film. The second half is more about trying to destroy the ring and of course the many hardships that came with it to the hero of the story. The second movie and the third film are the best in my opinion due to the HUGE BATTLE scenes. Storyline is epic and this trilogy has some of the best music and scenes. If you love stuff like this and have not seen it then you must watch it. Its about 9 hours to watch all 3 films so be sure to set some time aside to watch it.     LO TR what more can u ask for?

    It arrived at my house and I promptly opened the package. There it was, the limited edition of the Lord of the Rings of all three movies. This package is great, it has the extended and theatrical versions on each disc. It has special features about each movie and has directors commentary. The only draw back from this set from the newest, is that this lacks more special features and some other stuff that the newest set does have. If your looking for all three movies in a package without the need for every little special feature, this is for you.
