    Trouble from the start!

    I don't understand why this timer would not work! I have two others that are excellent from Intermatic! I followed the instructions and nothing helped. I actually had purchased another one that was a different Intermatic timer that I finally figured out what the problem was and was able to correct it.

    Recommended only as a replacement.

    I only recommend this as a replacement for one that is no longer working. My first one lasted about 20 years. The second one, from Ebay, lasted nearly 2 years. The third one, also from Ebay, didn't work at all as a timer, just as a manual light switch. The fourth one, from Ebay, has been working fine for a couple of weeks now. I keep buying it because I have a two wire electrical system that this timer works with since it doesn't have a neutral wire. They are quite expensive because they are no longer made and new ones in unopened packages can be hard to find.
