I never got into this show when it was on TV, cus I thought it would be lame just a bunch of high school kids singing and dancing. Than I watched a couple clips on the internet cus I liked the song and I found myself getting interested in what was going on in the show cus it was connected to the songs I liked. So I recommend watching this if you like musicals they sing everything from old rock to today's music. There's also plenty of drama and different storylines to keep you interested. Once your into it, it's actually quite addicting. Halfway thu first season I've already bought the next 2 seasons. It is a very relatable show being that the Glee club consists of a group of students from almost every clique in high school. After each episode you wish it were Tuesday so you can see what happens next, but luckily having the DVD of the season you don’t have to worry about that. Besides being able to watch Glee whenever you want, the DVD has a ton of special features like full audition pieces, how to dress like your favorite character, The ... From the first episode of Glee I was hooked. It's the best of all things, combining music, high school drama, and comedy. Each character is more diverse than the last, and who can deny Sue Sylvester as a hilarious icon whom everyone loves. When the first season came out on dvd I knew I had to get my very own copy of it, and I am very pleased with it. Although the images on the actual dvds seem very poor quality, the episodes look like you're watching them on tv for the first time. I defintely recommend this first season collection to any fan of Glee or anyone who is interested in investing in the group of mis-fits in McKinley's Glee club known as "New Directions".From the first episode of Glee I was hooked. I have to admit that I remember hearing about this show....and although I did I never watched it...big mistake on my part...I decided to watch and I was kicking myself for not watching sooner. I love the interaction between the Glee club teacher and the kids that do the singing..and they can sing....If you are a fan of musicals...or just a t.v. fan...you will love this television show...the arch nemesis "Sue" the coach of the cheer leading squad called the Cheerio's tries everything in the book to get the Glee club quashed....some of the funniest moments in the series...and If you have seen Wicked or have wanted to some of the cast is in there too....television watching at it finest...I have to admit that I remember hearing about this show....and although I did I never watched it...big mistake on my part...I decided to watch and I was kicking myself for not watching sooner.
