    Kevin Smith is a Genius!!

    Kevin at his best!! No other director has such honesty about himself and his work, and no other director is brave enough to share those thoughts with his fans! Once you watch this documentary you will appreciate his genius like never before. This goes way beyond the trend of director commentaries you see on DVD's these days. All questions are crowd directed and the answers are brutally honest. Both funny and touching, Kevin's connection is with his fans is like no other actor or director, and explains his enthralled followers ongoing commitment over the years. Buy and enjoy, this DVD stands on its own merits!!

    An Evening with Kevin Smith (2002, DVD)

    What can I say about 31/2 hours of Kevin Smith talking and answering questions? IT WAS HILARIOUS!!! I bought this DVD because I liked all of his movies. Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back was great. This DVD starts with Kevin Smith(aka Silent Bob)on stage at a college. The whole thing is him talking. He has funny situations in his life and how he met all the people in his films. It's a great time.

    Exactly what you'd expect

    Kevin Smith talks pretty much like he writes. If you're a fan of his movies, you'll like this. He sheds light on some questions about his movies, and tells a number of other stories as well (like when he was enlisted to work on the new Superman movie, and a documentary for Prince). His trademark humor is present throughout, so anyone who liked his movies should watch this as well. Yes, it's pretty much what you'd expect, but that's not a bad thing at all. In fact, that's why I liked it so much.

    For Those Who Love Kevin Smith...

    I love Kevin Smith so I do believe that I am not the right person to leave a review because I am bias but hay I say if you are a Kevin Smith fan and you love to hear Silent Bob speak because he has some funny stories abut pop culture and as well as PRINCE so I would defiantly recommend this to any who likes or loves Kevin Smith...

    an evening with kevin smith review

    i loved this dvd because it allows you to have questions answered by kevin smith that you cant ask your self. this made me laugh so hard. you really have to be a die hard kevin smith fan to fully enjoy this movie. the down side of the dvd is when i tried to take the second dvd out it cracked because the case is somewhat cheap so be careful. now i cant watch the second half =(
