Generally reliable with half-decent battery life
this phone usually works. If it is not functional, I give it a break and then restart. changing orientations from vertical to horizontal is sometimes non-responsive for the screen. Its small screen size means it can be challenging to text with or choose links that are small. The battery life is somewhat better since I replaced battery. The lightness, old-school home button, easy-to-hold edges, and metal and glass materials felt comfortable to me.this phone usually works. Was not entirely surprised that the phone was not in as great of shape as the description suggested. It was not working perfectly, but for the price & my purpose, it meets the need. The one thing warned about was the battery. I have experience changing them out, so wasn’t concerned. It actually was in great condition — no bulge & holds a long charge. Of the other things “functioning properly”… the screen has a weird fogginess to it (maybe a couple lines out?), and the phone regularly freezes where the sleep button needs to be pressed & then woken back up to continue. GPS, flash, camera, WI-FI, and Bluetooth all seem to be working fine. Would have given 3 or 4 stars had the description been more accurate. Still The Best iPhone Model For Features & Specs vs Price
The iPhone 5S is still the best value for all the features & specs, especially for less than 15% of the cost of the latest iPhone models. The camera represents the most significant upgrade from previous models & the upgrades that have been since are relatively minor. The 5S is the best all-around iPhone and the only feature upgrades on the newer models are gimmicky, rarely used, and add nothing to the true value of the phone. Unless you want the extremely large "Plus" versions, the 5S is the perfect size for taking it everywhere and for the feel and use in your hand. It easily upgrades to the latest version of iOS (the latest iteration of OS 11 as of this writing ), which means it runs everything on the latest iPhone for just over 1/10 of the cost! It’s perfect for work, businesses, ... The iPhone 5S is still the best value for all the features & specs, especially for less than 15% of the cost of the latest iPhone models. iPhone 5s review in a nutshell
This phone does have a lot of features, it does have good reception when it comes to making phone calls and the touch-screen is very responsive compared to others however if you want to transfer music and videos from your PC to this Phone that's when it gets a bit complicated....For one thing, this phone doesn't have a slot for you to connect a memory card into like other phones....with this phone in order to connect with your PC you have to connect it via the regular lightning to USB cable that comes with it then you're forced to register with iTunes and zync your phone with it. iTunes is sort of like the PC "driver" for the iPhone. It's the interface for this phone, handles your music, videos and pretty much any media. Without iTunes you can't really transfer files from PC to phone or ... Iphone 5s best phone for the value
Bought in 2017 used with little expectation, but has been 2 month and I love it. More than I can expect and I can do with the phone. Works every time, I get 100% battery in the morning, listening music all day long and by 5.00 P.M. is about 20%, but..it is ok for me. Plus I can txt or call any time of the day to my contacts. (I don't really call all day long neither watch videos) but works for me. Good value for an old phone. Has done the work for me.
