About this product

Product Information

The Hollanders, a family of Americans on vacation in Eastern Europe during the 1960s, get into trouble after Walter (director Allen) takes a photo of a sunset near a sensitive military area. The family is forced to hide out in the American embassy, unfortunately in the hands of the ambassador's incompetent son. A remake of Allen's 1960s play, made for television.

    OK WOODY ALLEN MOVIE

    Not the best, but a good early play by Woody remade into film for the second time. Michael J. Fox is great to watch as always, but the play is a little dated and stiff, even when seen in its cold-war context. OK for Woody fans, but the casual observer may say, "So What?".

    Dom Deluise and Woody...what could be better?

    This is a hillarious movie. Woody Allen does fabulous work. It is somehow a subtle and off the wall comedy at the same time. True this was a made for TV movie but do not let that fool you in thinking it is a movie in poor quality.
