It was shipped in a static shielding bag, but besides for that, the motherboard had no packing materials inside the box, which was an extremely thin cardboard box. Package came extremely quick (quickest one ever on eBay) and packaged nicely. Some scuffs on the cpu, but I am pretty sure those are due to assembly and manufacturing rather than prior use, and the product is indeed new.
