Parts need altering to fit
Ordered new bowl and top (correct part numbers according to manual). Top arrive first after 6 weeks. Bowl finally arrived much later. Top would not latch to bowl. Had to grind off over 1/16 inch of plastic on latching surface in order to close top. Opposite side does not match up to latching surface. Obviously made in China with no quality control. Not much choice when original was no longer functional. Would never order parts from manufacturer again.Ordered new bowl and top (correct part numbers according to manual). I do like the fact that the new work bowl appears to be made of polycarbonate plastic which should resist the cracking that the original suffered. Cuisinart listed this bowl as a direct replacement for the original. It was not. Happy to find a used replacement part that works with all the other components. Be gentle when fastening container to Cuisinart, the clips are fragile and can crack.
