The First Five Doctors
This entertaining program puts together the first five of the actors who played Doctor Who. Actually, it's really only three of them since the first actor, William Hartnell, had died, and the fourth, Tom Baker, pulled out of the production, so a look-alike substituted for the first, and the fourth was put in (a little bit) using part of the unfinished "Shada" episode. All of the most popular enemies are also here, including the second regeneration of the Master, the Dalaks, and Cybermen (too much of them, though). Overall, I'd give the episode about a B rating, but it's still worth viewing just to see so much talent in one room together. Doctor Who spands the test of time ever since it started in 1963 on the BBC. This is the storyline in the Fifth Doctor Peter Davison and his character joines the very first original, the 2nd and 3rd Doctor Who. As with any special tradition of Doctor Who this is an anniversary of the finest. The companions join in and the chaos begins on Gallifrey. The arch enemies of the Doctor are well on their way to permanently kill the Doctor across time and space. For me, this is a treasure when they still used studio presence instead of the modern versions now in the 21st century. Sit back, remember and enjoy this wonderful show. Doctor Who, The Union of the Five.
