Received quickly, packed well, but the description, I notice now, had conflicting information. The ipod nano was a 4th generation and not a 5th generation. The model # verifies this (A1285). The detailed description says battery life is 18 hours but it will not charge. It is 16gb, not 8gb, though, but no 5th gen camera. SHOPPERS: Be vigilant and check carefully anything you wish to purchase from any vendor on ebay. Make sure all photos and all descriptions are correct. See the ad photos.

I read that this can be used with a DSLite. I was still worried, but that's neither here nor there. The option to load up the... software (is that what you call the e reader menu?) showed up and I was able to enter into the menu just fine. I can scan the cards I have with it. If only I could read Japanese... Oh well. I can still use it and the little marks mean nothing to me; they just show how adored the product was.I read that this can be used with a DSLite. Broke two gba link cables
The actual e reader slides into the gameboy and turned on, but when I went to insert my gameboy-GameCube link cable to the top of the e reader it would not go in, this is because the top of the e reader was broken. The metal prongs are all out of whack and in the improper positions. This broke two different cables I tried to make work by messing with prongs. A strange piece of Nintendo gaming history, a nice little collector's item.
Haven't gotten around to getting any eReader cards just yet, but it's working pretty well. Just gave it a quick dusting & wipedown, cleaned the contacts and it booted up fine.
