Made it easy to count a bunch of coins!

this made counting a water jug full of change an easy task. Just a heads up - I had a couple of silver dollars and they clogged up the works a bit. Easy to solve, but would have been better if I had taken them out of the mix before I started.

You get what you pay for!

Although I did end up taking it apart to clear "coin jams" several times, I managed to roll over $200 in a couple of hours. Don't turn the crank handle too fast. I believe, if this product were made of stronger material, it would be a wonderful machine. You get what you pay for, nothing more.

  • Coin Sorter

I have waited many years for one of these coin sorters. The electric ones you see around Xmas look and feel cheaply made. This Royal Sovereign is manual but it does the job and I don't have to stock batteries. The instructions specify the pre-formed coin holders, but based on another reviiew I tried the old ones you get from your bank for free, and they work. I did find you need to make some cuts around one end of the package so they can be folded down to the length of the plastic coin holders or the coins will bounce right off. Delivery was fast and product as described, except it is plastic but sturdy. Saves time and money, pun intended :)

  • Coin Sorter,

We ordered a clear coin sorter but they shipped the black one, to would be great to see the coins going round and being sorted, the unit works very good, follow the instruction to make sure the coins are loose and freely moving to reduce binding the machine.

  • Royal Sovereign QS-1 Manual Coin Sorter

This machine works great. It is so easy to use. You will get a jam if you turn the handle too fast and if you turn the handle at a steady pace it will work just fine most of the time. If you do happen to get a jam, just turn the handle backwards a half of a turn and then forward again and this will fix the jam most of the time, if not, you may have to turn i upside down and shake until it falls out or use something flat to push the coin around the opening to UN-jam it. I would highly recommend this product for all your coin sorting needs. You can also use the flat coin wrappers you get free from the bank. After the tube fills with coins, you just open the wrapper and slide it in the tube side ways as the coins tilt at an angle and slightly shake as you push the wrapper into the tube ...
