About this product

Product Information

This 1980 drive-in classic from Roger Corman's New World Pictures gives B-film lovers a great mishmash of sex, violence, and monsters in one ridiculously fun package. The sleepy fishing village of Noyo begins to experience a wave of violence. Men are being murdered and women are being abducted. It comes to light that a genetic experiment has gone awry, and a race of half-man/half-fish creatures are rising from the sea... to mate with human women! Features the late Vic Morrow, a great twist ending, and an early score from TITANIC composer James Horner. Corman remade the film in 1997 for a series on the Showtime cable network.

  • 2 steps back on the eveloutionary ladder

One of Cormans best. the end equals Psyco, or Carry. In this title, man has once again been bitten by that which he thought he could controll. Gene spliceing, and other nature excellators, have reared Its head, and made its presence known. As human understanding goes, as per usual siencetists allowed there egos to unleash a terable toll upon those they are trying to help.

  • There is a special place in my heart for this movie...

I HAD to get this movie, cause I was an extra in this when I was still in highschool! Got photos of me with the monster, and got to mingle with all teh cast and crew whilt filming this sci-Fi. Filming located in Fort Braggs Noyo Harbor. As I watch the movie.... we are always looking for the people that we know. LOVED this movie in the making, and watching it every time we have new company over. Lol.... It is a conversation bit for sure.
