The mind-bending pace of Black accelerates in Red , Book Two of Ted Dekker's groundbreaking Circle trilogy. Less than a month ago, Thomas Hunter was a failed writer selling coffee at the Java Hut in Denver. Now he finds himself in a desperate quest to rescue two worlds from collapse. "If you die in your dreams, do you die in your bed? The dreams of failed writer Thomas Hunter have thrust him into two very real worlds. In one he's an ancient general leading a band of warriors against hopeless odds; in the other he's battling a terrorist plot that has infected much of the modern world with a deadly virus. Continuing the Circle trilogy begun with BLACK, Dekker's RED thrusts the reader into a fascinating tale of suspense and intrigue. Reader Rob Lamont brings urgency and clarity to what could be a topsy-turvy page-turner." R.O. AudioFile Portland, Maine, "If you die in your dreams, do you die in your bed? • Roller coaster keeps going in book 2 of Circle Trilogy

Part 2 of the Circle Trilogy is good. Obviously, it is a must read as a part of the Circle Trilogy. The main character continues his travels between the real world and the dream world ("Black", the 1st book in the trilogy, sets up the fact that the main character lives in 2 worlds; one when he is awake here, and another when he is asleep here.) DO NOT TRY READING THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE FIRST BOOK IN THE TRILOGY! YOU MUST READ "BLACK" FIRST TO TRULY UNDERSTAND AND ENJOY "RED". Overall, I wouldn't give this book as much credit as the first or the third, but it was a good middle book. The 2nd book in any trilogy is always the most difficult to write. The author is presented with the problem of starting where there is not really a start, and ending where there is not a true ...

  • Red by Ted dekker

Two worlds one man to save them both. This is the second book of the three book trilogy. The parallelisms to Christianity are interesting. Which world is real? An interesting title with an equally interesting plot. You will not find this book boring, but hard to put down. For those who like fantasy plots, you will not be disappointed. However you must read Black first or you will not be able to grasp what is happening to whom . I would not be surprised if they put this one to film. I would highly recommend this book.

  • good way to enjoy book

I never was into reading very much but I love to hear someone else read a good book and this is just what the doctor ordered.
