I'm still not sure what happened, but everything points to a BIOS virus that messed up my motherboard. I could not get it working normal again. That or just a hardware failure. I found this same exact MOBO as the only i bought in 2012 for $229 for much cheaper and it's been working great. i liked this mother board because of the built in RAID that i use to backup my pictures and documents.     As others have stated this card is a really easy upgrade for older systems. For upgrading an older system, or just trying to game on a budget, this card is an excellent choice. It won't give you the best of the best in current-gen AAA games, but it will run everything in a playable state without a lot of work.

    Optiple 9020 upgrade

    Worked fine in mini-tower. Had to move sound card from 1x slot to 16x (wired as 4x) to make room for video card (it is double thick). Stock PSU works fine. Got latest drivers from Nvidia. What an improvement. Could not play Phoning Home with built-in Intel HD Graphics 4600, now can play with very high graphics setting.
