    this radio is a gem

    this radio is a fantastic option for the operator on a budget. takes some time to figure out all of the quirks and features but once is all set up and programed, works very well. the antenna.... well as seaso ed amateur operators one of the first things we learn is to REPLACE THE RUBBER DUCKY with something more decent. once that is fixed. is a very decent piece of kit. battery time is average though. is not a bad idea to have a spare battery around.

    Great radio for the price. Poor antenna though.

    The radio works great and takes a bit of learning curve to program. But once you get it you are good to go. The antenna looks nice but on an analyzer it is not for the ham band, but since the openspot is 5 feet away I just have the radio on low-power. Also the battery does not last as long as the book says. Just listening about 16 hours during use about 3. Also the radio has the driver built into it, the only drawback is you need Windows 10. I got it to work with windows 7 one time and after that I got the error code.

    MD2017

    I have been using DMR for a while and am very happy with this radio. I was so happy to get it and 2 days later had emergency heart surgery and was unable to use it. I am now home and am very much enjoying the time to use it. The radio is built with quality, easy to program and has amazing audio.
