A perfect marriage at the right time.
Lard - The Last Temptation Of Reid 9 Tracks - 57:13 minutes What do you get when you combine the sense of humor of Jello Biafra and the searing rage of Ministry? Well, you get Lard. After Lard's first release (Power Of Lard) I wasn't so sure that I would get into them. I liked the concept, not the tunes. Then "The Last Temptation..." came along, I didn't take it off of my player for weeks. This is the best Ministry CD in my opinion. It is also the best Lard release too. "Drug Raid" is worth the whole purchase price. "They're Coming To Take Me Away" is the prefect cover song for this match-up. In fact I rate this disc right along with Revolting Cocks - Beers, Steers & Queers. A classic and some of Jello's best work - until he hooked up with The Melvins that is. 1. Forkboy* 2. Pineapple ... Two different worlds collide
Awesome CD I wish they would put out some more some year lol or decade. It doesn't sound like ministry but you know Al's there and Jell-O on vocals you know you're in for a political rant that you'll love otherwise you wouldn't be here.
