    Wheel of Time Series

    Robert Jordan created a world that is hard to extract yourself from. Strong heroes, magic, battles and an amazing journey. Laugh, cry and love with a fantastic cast of characters!

    BEST IN THE SERIES SO FAR! seriously! book six rocks!

    I still can't put it down. You know, I have heard a lot of people complain that this SERIES doesn't show any end, drags on, or is too much like Toilken's Lord of the Rings. And personally, I kind of though book 5, Fires of the Heaven, was just a lot of set up and nothing really happened significantly, which was supporting what I had read about dragging. BOY WAS I WRONG TO SPECULATE! This book picked up its perfect style of suspense and interesting character development and plot as in the earlier books. NOT a spoiler, but this book touches more on the forsaken (thru their eyes), the Seachan folk, the Sea folk, Salidar and its Little Tower, Matt and Loial's story, and everything else you've been waiting to hear more about. I have about 100 pages left. Plus I'm a slow reader, but I'm ...

    I Wish I'd Quit With Book 5

    After Moraine's "death" (sort of death--at least disappearance from the series) in book 5, I really should have quit reading. This series grew more and more repulsively misogynistic with each book. Now with the constant references to beating women, the sexual assaults with zero redemption, the constant reference to men examining women's bodies...there's just no way to pretend you are reading anything that is remotely above board. It astounds me that these books were marketed as youth fantasy. Jordan's writing is as convoluted as ever--the man needed a seriously good editor & some classes on how not to be a raging racist, sexist pig.
