Item was exactly as described in pics. However, it took at least 10 days after payment (9/22) for the package to get into USPS hands (10/3). I contacted the seller at least three times with questions on shipment status... ZERO communication from the seller. As for the packaging, this lantern was placed in a large flat-rate box. It fit, corner to corner. There was ZERO packing or cushioning. Fortunately, there was no shipping damage.
