Shipped so fast and looks like new! Would not have even known the item was used if not for the missing stylus (which my kid would have lost anyway). My son loves this tablet and I love that the games are educational and he isnt going to end up seeing something online that he shouldn't or downloading an adult app that slips through Googles filters. Plus this tablet has a rubber bumper that keeps it from getting broken easily.Shipped so fast and looks like new! The Leapfrog epic 7' is ideal for children who are not familiar with the open source android platform. One cannot access playstore on it neither can one download regular android apps even in parent restricted mode. It is limited in video file association that the normal android would have apps to support those file types. Ideally, there should be a mode similar to known android OS that one could log in to to have a different user interface. It is only useful to a child who did not know anything else prior to acquisition.The Leapfrog epic 7' is ideal for children who are not familiar with the open source android platform. Change of language issues
Has only 6 languages available. if your language is not on the list you can't use it cause there is any other options to change the language. In the parent setting you can not use Play Store just to see how you can change the language, everything is about Leapfrog, you can download App only from Amazone.Play Store and LeapFrog. It's very helpful for kids in English countries . Not good, the language version supposed to be universal. Great for parts!
Purchased to swap out the screen but ended up changing out the main circuit board once I saw what great condition the inner workings were in, only took 15 mins and voila, new leappad. Battery, screen, stylus, etc all in like new condition. Very easy fix that saved me $100 on buying a new one.
