    Made me look like an expert to my grandparents

    This was the only ice maker of this exact part number I could find on the internet for my grandparents 10-12 year old GE fridge. The part arrived looking as if were in brand new condition.     Wrong part

    The Icemaker piece was of good quality and was received in a timely manner. The problem was it was the wrong icemaker unit. I did not discover this until I had it completely installed and then attempted to adjust it to make it work. It was the wrong part and could not work because it was wrong. The reasonable price made up for the fact that I could no longer return it.

    It worked but required modification to location of mounting screws on mounting bracket to accommodate slightly larger size. So, it is not a drop in compatible part. But, it worked in the end.
