      For CD lovers only!

      I still love audio CDs. The sound quality on most far exceeds MP3s. Despite what the music industry wants and says, audio CDs are still very popular. I like to listen late in bed at night and this is where these Philips players come in. I've recently stocked up on these players because the quality is great and they stopped making them years ago. You might find new portable CD players, but they're cheap and sound cheap. This model and most of the Philips' players from this era are very user friendly. I can navigate the buttons by feel especially at night when it's dark. Simply designed. The bass boost is a nice option although I rarely use it. Buy 'em while they're still available.
