    Working Great!

    I thought I could use the coax WAN on my Verizon modem/router. Wrong! That unit works on MoCA but Time Warner uses DOCSIS 3. So, I bought this Zoom modem and it worked right out of the box after hooking it up. Of course, I had to call TimeWarner and give them the new MAC address. They were then able to see the modem, cycle it off/on and even run some performance tests. I signed up for 50Mbps service. Speedtest(dot)net regularly clocks me at 57~59Mbps down and usually 10% of that number as the upload speed. The modem is smaller than I thought it might be. Then again, it's just a modem -- no router functions included. It has one coax input port and one Ethernet output port. This plugs into your existing router WAN port and in no time, you're up and running!

    Great product for the $$

    Having several choices of cable modems to purchase with most of them more expensive, I purchased this one based on the recommendation of a sales clerk. Of course it was cheaper online. Installing was so simple and the increase in downloading speeds was noticeable at once. No regrets!

    Great little modem!

    Incredible speed from this little modem. Save yourself $10.00 a month by quitting the rental of your modem by buying this little gem. Pays for itself in less than 3 months of rental so if you are unsure of reliability (haven't had any issues with ZOOM products in the past) buy 2 at this price.

    Should have gotten one years ago

    I only had it for less than two weeks and so far it's been working without issue and just as good if not better than my cable companies box. It was simple to set up only requiring a call to the cable company to give them them the MAC# located on the box or bottom of the unit. I only wish I had gotten one years ago, I could have saved hundreds over the years. I'm glad I decided to get this open box one vs paying full price for a new unopened box one.
