About this product
Product Information
Lufia: The Legend Returns continues the role-playing series first introduced to American audiences in 1993 on the 16-bit Super NES. The four Sinistrals have arisen once again from their slumber and plan on returning the submerged Doom Island to its former state, hovering high above the land. As a descendent of the hero from Lufia II, Maxim, players embark on a perilous quest to defeat the Sinistrals and their monster armies.

Lufia on the Game Boy Color features randomly generated dungeons and a turn-based combat system that uses up to nine characters at once (a total of twelve playable characters can be found during the adventure). Characters in combat are grouped together in three columns of three, with the first row receiving the most damage from enemy attacks. Players select one character from each column per round to initiate an action until the battle is over.

Each character accumulates Infuriating Points after receiving damage, which can be transformed into powerful attacks after finding Ancient Text scrolls. Learning Points are also awarded after combat and can be used to acquire magic spells. As players advance through the dungeons, they will eventually come across the mysterious Ancient Cave found in 1996's Lufia II. This version of the Ancient Cave features 200 levels of treasure to plunder and monsters to fight.

- a***e (62)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseItem came in good condition - case was more damaged than described/pictured but no biggie, game works as intended! Seller was extremely communicative - package was lost in the mail and seller was able to get it back on track. Thank you!!!
- 3***_ (41)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseShipping was quick and slow at the same time but almost perfect. Packaging was like a Christmas present, well cared for. Looked exactly as it did on the photo. But when I turned it on it had a few save files on it, not that it’s a problem but still 10/10 would buy again.
