    Seller was excellent with superior communications. He offered to refund my money and trusted me to pay him if and when the nuts were delivered. It took 41 days! The US Post Office is officially a disaster - we've had multiple issues, some very serious, with important items arriving very late or not at all. At least this wasn't a critical delivery.     Almost as good as Turbo Tax for a lot less cost

    I've used Turbo Tax 3 times and thought it was good tax preparation software. Since Turbo Tax decided to raise their price I decided to try another program. H. R. Block is very good and at a much lower price, While I found Turbo Tax to be a little more user friendly the difference between the two software packages is very small and some of this feeling using H. R. Block is probably due to it being the first year I've used it. Importing data from other programs is easy and straightforward and the program walks you through the process easily while displaying a running total on your tax refund (or liability). The state package included does not include efile without paying a $19.95 fee but the software does make it quite easy to print and mail the package including cover sheets to instruct ...

    Don't waste your money!

    As a long-time user of another brand of tax software, I was reluctant to switch. However, due to ever-increasing prices, and diminishing features, I abandoned my old favorite and switched to H&R Block. For most folks, it's probably okay. If you're a minister, or have complicated circumstances, you're better of with the best-seller from Intuit. With H&R Block, I was facing a federal tax due of nearly $2,300.00. When I recalculated, using TT, my tax bill dropped to less than $100.00. GOOD: Fairly easy to use. Customer support. Free help at local Block offices. BAD: Not equipped to calculate minister's taxes (housing allowance, social security, etc.) BOTTOM LINE: I won't buy this again; and I don't recommend it.

    Cheaper but Not Better Than Turbotax

    Tech support is deficult to obtain. I still have been able to get their PDF printer to install on my computer. I had to print the documents out and scan them and save the scans as pdf files. This was a major problem for me as I save each year's returns on a DVD. I have used H&R Block software twice in the last twenty years and rest of the time I have used Turbotax. Each time I have used the H&R Block tax software, I have found it lacking in comparison the Turbotax product. Next year, I will just pay Turbotax's higher price but greater satisfaction.

    H&R Block Tax Software honest review

    I used to work for a rival company of H&R Block. The software that was supplied by that company often left us (the employees) confused and sometimes second guessing ourselves. All that management said was that corporate would review all tax "paperwork" prior to them sending them to the IRS. This was frustrating and sometimes ridiculous. I left that company and started using the H&R Block Tax Software. What a difference in products. I use the product not only for myself, but I donate my time to help out at the Senior Citizen Center where they also use this product. It is easy to understand, and if you don't understand a certain question, all you have to do is "click" on it and an "explanation" box will open up and explain it.     H&R Tax Product

    For many years I used Turbo Tax and it was very fine. Lateley Intuit increased their price and with that decreased options of tax preparation to very simple tax returns only. That program works well and much cheaper. It also reflects H&R professional program to the T. I know because I worked for them for 6 years. Can't say if it easy to use for person, who never did tax return by himself. For me it was very easy. Product arrived on time, was properly sealed and I downloaded it. For state tax I'm still wating till January 7, when supposetly it will be available. Usually it is not, so I'm ready to wait till end of January and then dowload it.
