Now, it is up to the Navy to try to stop these deadly mollusks as they migrate down the California waterways in search of more humans to devour.IT! THE TERROR FROM BEYOND SPACE: After the first mission to Mars fails, a second ship is sent to pick up the survivors. However, only one man is left, and it appears he murdered the rest of the crew! When the space ship returns to Earth, the crew discovers a most unwelcome stow away--a living, breathing, hunting, killing creature! This low budget favorite has been sited as one of the inspirations for ALIEN (1979).

        Drive In Double Feature Dandies!

        Two great horror classics on one disc! Both of these B&W movies are excellent in their own way…IT is more of a claustrophobic space horror story ala Alien, where Monster is more in the line of the classic 50’s giant creature creepers. Each features a strong cast and effects that were impressive for their time. Was an easy decision to pick this up cheap to have on hand when the mood strikes…recommended!

        dvd made form film with a lot of scratches.got better as dvd was on after 10 minut.case came broken.

        simple as the special effects are these movies were very entertaining. some of that may have been because i was a child when these came out and the movie’s style reminds me of that happy time. one of the movies was made from a worn film and was a little annoying until i got absorbed in the story and forgot about it. also the quality improved after a while.

        It the terror from beyond space! A collectors must have! I grew up watching these science fiction movies, nothing compares to these all time classic horror films of days gone by. If you are a true science fiction / horror film fan then you'll absolutely love this film.

        Cold War Creature Features

        These SciFi classics from the 1950s are in beautiful Black&White and are the epitome of pure monster who lurk in the shadows from that era. Taking place on earth and the inescapable confines of a rocket ship returning there the film's have that us versus them of the Cold War period. Whether it's a colossal escargot in California or an armored Martian with a taste for human's chemical makeup, there a SciFi tag team that are worth a look.
