    Best shaver for shaving

    If you need a shaver for shaving only, without beard care then Braun 190s-1 shaver is the best for this mission. the Braun 190s-1 has also many other advantages, it water resistant, its parts cutter and foil are cheap and over all the entire shaver is also cheap, so that you can buy a new one every year.

    Failed to cut my whiskers. Wish I had purchased genuine Braun replacement. As described, timely delivery.

    Perfect fit, just not made the same. May be suitable for someone that does not need to shave daily. As a buyer of the most affordable in North America available, I got what I paid for.

    Best Bet

    You just can't beat this shaver for the money and maybe for any cost! This shaver outperforms any shaver I've ever had, including the high priced Braun model that supposedly cleans itself. Boy, that one was a waste of money! The 190s-1 will stay charged for five or six good shaves, if necessary, and I just run the head under water to clean it. The only draw-back is that you have to be very careful NOT to leave any water around the pins that the cord plugs into or else they will rust out and break off in the plug, (that's what happened to my first shaver!).

    It seems unable to shave - using for parts

    I bought a replacement for my 4 years old Series 1, cause the foil got so thin with the years that it started cracking. The new unit seems unable to shave, taking close to 10 minutes to have an unperfect shave, cause the blades seems not sharp enough. I ended putting the new foil on the old razor and now I'm able to shave me in less than 5 minutes. So disappointed.

    My new Braun One Blade Shaver

    My first Braun one blade shaver purchased back in 1984 is in need of replacement, not a bad run for a shaver, thought it still cuts OK. My first shave with my new Braun One Blade, without a doubt was better than I remembered my first Braun razor gave me. I can recommend the new Braun One Blade Shaver, and the brilliant idea of being able too rinse and clean the shaver under running water is great.
