The Intel E6600 3.06 GHz CPU is equipped for digital imaging, multiple data-transfer functions, and low power usage. This dual-core system offers two cores and two threads. This Intel Pentium processor operates on a 64-bit instruction set and is compatible with the LGA775 motherboard, and it includes an expansion slot for the motherboard. The bus/core ratio on this 3.06 GHz CPU is 11.5 with an FSB speed of 1066 MHz. The Intel L2 Smart Cache memory capacity on the Intel E6600 is 2 MB. The low-voltage technologies that are installed in this CPU keep the voltage range between 0.85 volts and 1.3625 volts, making it energy efficient at the same time. In addition, Thermal Monitoring technologies help keep the temperature on the CPU below its threshold of 165.4 degrees F. These technologies also prevent overheating and delays in data processing. This Intel Pentium processor features a maximum TDP of 65 watts with a maximum manufacturing process rate of 45 nm. Additional enhancement features installed on this Intel Pentium processor include Intel Visualization technology, Execute Disable Bit, Intel 64, Idle States, Enhanced Halt State, Intel Thermal Monitor 2, and Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology.
