Good Product!
Good product; however I did have trouble with one of the 1 T HDDs I put in one of these. I was able to get this to work with a long regular USB cable and runs faster than the other one with the cable that came with the other one. Copying from the same type HDD in both units and the one that has the cable that came with it is slower than the one with my cable. Go figure! At any rate; the third one works good with no issues and it also has the same type HDD. The enclosure is good buy for those seeking a 3.5 inch drive case. The USB 3 delivers a stunning high speed transmission of data between computer and drive. SSD’s and 2.5 drives need a sled to hold them in the case for this enclosure. There is a power switch and LED indicating operation.

Pros: Well made aluminum housing = dissipates heat where plastic will not Secure screw-together assembly Comes with a bag of spare parts and a screwdriver Always works with no fuss Cons: None that I have found What could make this better: Exact same style power switch on the opposite end from the cable connections. Make the HDD rails long enough to catch the rear screw holes as well for better support. Ramped form-fitting plastic guides at the rear inside to support the rear of the HDD Make available a sturdy rack that would securely hold six of these laying flat with air circulating space between. This is as good as it currently gets for a hard-drive enclosure within this price range. I currently have six of these in service and will buy more as money allows. Wonderful, easy to install the hard drive into it, The electronics is updated to the maximum. It runs very cool, about 25 degrees cooler than my Rosewill that I bought last year.
