96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0l Fuel Pump
Would not fit. 3/8 inch to tall. Does not look like OEM - it's not enclosed around the top of the pump and has 3 springs which should actually keep even pressure on the pump, but it's too tall for the tank ( I have a 23 gallon tank as should every 93 to 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee ). NOTE: There was a recall on fuel tanks for some year models due to leaking if hit in an accident. I think there was another issue, but I do not remember what it was. If my tank was replaced under recall, this could be the issue with the pump not fitting. However this is just my opinion. Do NOT install this, or any, pump in a dirty tank. You will sorely regret it. Also clean out your fuel lines and replace your fuel filter. Make sure there is no rust in your tank as well. This pump does look like it would work ... Would not fit. 3/8 inch to tall.
