      This is the real deal, DIYers! Excellent quality for price. Don't be misled by fancy "Heat resistant anti-static ESD silicon" repair mats; They insulate different charge potentials. This one 'dissipates' charges away from workpieces and you. Padding dampens fastener bounce. Comes with complementary EDS workstation warning sticker, four antistatic parts bags, and an extra snap connector kit. Only negative is installed snap connector will pull-out with use because there's no backing washer.

      Nice quality heat resistant ESD mat

      Got this smaller mat for use under my microscope, and it is good quality. It is heat resistant and I measured it's resistivity and it falls within the published specifications. The snap, cord and clip are ok as well.
