Great high-output pickups for the money.
I started playing guitar in 1985. Over the years, I have run the gamut of high-output pickups. I have a Les Paul and an Explorer with Gibson’s 496R and 500T pickups. I have two guitars with DiMarzio Super Distortion DP100 pickups in the bridge position. I have, and have had Seymour Duncan Distortion Trembucker TB-6B and 6N pickups in the bridge and neck positions of my guitars over the years as well. And, while these pickups are not as good as any of those in terms of tone or clarity, they are pretty damn close, for a fraction of the price. If you play any genre of blues, rock, or metal, and you are throwing together a guitar on a budget, definitely check a pair of these out.I started playing guitar in 1985. Great upgrade at a great price
I put these in a Eppiphone Les Paul Special 'll and I am very pleased. They have a good mid range sound and not muddy in the neck position. Very responsive with the tone control. A great addition to my lower priced guitar, and I really enjoy playing it after having it set untouched for a while. amazing and not just at the price point
WOWWW! I JUST DROPPED THESE IN A 50 YEAR OLD LP COPY MADE OF PLYWOOD im absolutely floored most of my guitars have emg or seymour duncan sets and these can hang right with the big dogs im ordering several more sets verry loud clean and articulate ive got at least 3 guitars i want these in look for some used emg sets on ebay soon lol

Premium sound at a budget price
They weren't kidding when they say the sound was as good as pickups at a much higher price. I had very low expectations given the price point, but have to say I'm very impressed with the tone of these pickups. My vintage Charvel has come alive, even under a lot of distortion the tone stays together and doesn't get broken and fuzzy, it just cuts through. Even the neck pickup has a nice round mellow tone at higher levels.
