    GREAT pickup for the $$$

    Great price for a great sounding pickup. You could spend more , but why would you? These pickups are not too "hot", so they work VERY well at higher volume applications. They're wax potted and NOT micro-phonic, so they are easy to control as well. Go ahead and give them a try, They're very affordable and come in a variety of color combinations (gold-chrome-white-black-zebra-cream).

    GM Alnico 2 Humbuckers 57

    These replaced my Alnico 5 humbuckers. Nice at clean level and quiet. Not as strong as Alnico 5’s but warmer. Only concern was they did not like overdrive or distortion pedals very well. Would use them exclusively clean only. Seemed to be well made. Lead wires tiny but workable.

    Thin wires ruin the fun

    good sounding pickups, at a very reasonable price, but the wires are so thin, they easily break off of the pots constantly. Must reinforce the connections so there is no pull on the joints. Thicker wires would be better, but probably cost much more, but I think I would pay. Disappointing, and frustrating.
