      Serves purpose intended, easy to install on f350

      It serves its purpose on the f350. I will add second one on opposite side as it does not really catch or slow down until it is 1/2 way down.

      It’s just ok

      My tailgate doesn’t fall without resistance anymore, there’s a little more control there now. I wish the shock was a little stronger, if it were this product would be perfect. A 6.5 out of 10 is not horrible, there’s just room for improvement.

      fair warning

      The product is made good and pretty easy to install but the piston that is used to assist with the tail gate needs to hold more of the weight . The one that comes with the kit it is not strong enough.I would recommend replacing it with a stronger one.
