    Great sound, double key tenor, thumb slips but I'm working on a solution.

    It is a good sounding instrument. It comes with a thumb rest which you will definitely have to use. I couldn't find the right spot for it so i had to do something else.This instrument is much heavier than a soprano so it will quickly slide off of your thumb making you miss the holes with your fingers. I saw a video on how to make a sling out of women's hair ties so i did that and am going to put some grip like sand paper or something on the back to keep it from slipping off of my thumb.

    Love it! for the price as well as its quality.

    As a beginner its size is yes, overwhelming but the sound makes me keep playing, more like it challenged me to play better, if that makes sense - I did have to take a break every now and then to stretch my hands, fingers though... Love it! Ended up buying the Soprano and the Alto recorders.

    Great instrument. Beautiful sound.

    I loved the rich deep sound it's great for out doors and for adult sized begginers. Or if you already play a soprano the fingering is the same. I think a good plastic recorder is always a great addition to your collection of instruments. Not recommended for small hands.

    Yamaha makes a wonderful instrument in terms of tone and pitch for the money. I have the matched sopranino, soprano, alto, and not tenor recorders. Durable, sound great, and fit my budget.

    Nice Recorder good Price

    This is a very nice recorder and a good value. However be cautioned you need long fingers. I play flute, violin, and cello but the reach is to difficult for me to really enjoy.
