One switch opens up a million wiring possibilities.
This is a switch so there's not a lot to say. The big advantage of this for me is that it's a 4PDT switch that hides within the volume control allowing a multitude of uses. I'm using it for a true bypass for an EP Boost I installed within my Strat. Works great and maintains the original appearance of the guitar. Stealth and sweet.

Hard tail strat upgrade
One thing to be careful with is the 3 leads on the pot. I wired my old 1975 hard tail Strat for an S1 switch upgrade. While putting the pick guard back I cracked and broke a lead where it was unusable. I was able to take apart that pot and then I took apart the old original pot where the leads are a lot stronger, and put the old pot leads the the new S1 switch. Fit and works great. The strat has Tom Anderson vintage pickups and with the S1 switching really sounds great.One thing to be careful with is the 3 leads on the pot. Great but expensive
After you buy the knob that fits this and the “nylon insert” that allows it to actually utilize the push/push feature, your up to a $35 mod that could have been had with a normal push/pull for less than $10.
